Chad J. Robinson is a highly respected attorney whose career reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, professional excellence, and protecting the rights of individuals navigating complex legal and insurance systems. A cum laude graduate of Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, Chad distinguished himself early through academic leadership, serving as Sources Editor for the Nova Law Review and as a teaching assistant for both Criminal Law and Constitutional Law.
Chad is AV Preeminent® rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a Florida Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor reserved for a small percentage of attorneys demonstrating exceptional skill and professionalism. He is admitted to practice before the Florida Bar, multiple United States District Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, as well as the Texas Bar, the Federal District of Colorado, and the State of Washington, reflecting the national scope of his legal work.
A significant portion of Chad’s practice is dedicated to representing policyholders whose insurance claims have been wrongfully denied or underpaid. He brings a rare and valuable perspective to this work, having previously represented insurance companies in a wide range of first-party claims, including windstorm, fire, water, mold, theft, and sinkhole losses. This experience on both sides of the aisle allows Chad to approach disputes with a nuanced understanding of claims handling, litigation strategy, and the real-world impact of carrier decisions.
Chad is also deeply committed to education and professional development within the claims industry. He has served as a course instructor for organizations including the National Claims Institute and regularly supports the next generation of legal professionals by serving as a judge for mock trial competitions at the high school, collegiate, and law school levels.
As a board member of United Claims Professionals, Chad brings legal insight grounded in fairness, accountability, and due process. His experience advocating for policyholders, combined with his understanding of insurer practices, aligns directly with UCP’s mission to elevate ethical standards, promote transparency, and improve outcomes across the insurance claims process.
