Meet Dr. Dilip Khatri, PhD, MBA, PE, SE
Founder & Principal Engineer
Dr. Dilip Khatri is a Structural Engineer, Professional Engineer, forensic consultant, educator, and industry expert with more than 40 years of experience in structural and civil engineering. His background includes structural design, seismic analysis, earthquake retrofit design, forensic engineering, construction management, land planning, infrastructure development, and insurance loss investigations.
Dr. Khatri holds a PhD in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Finance from USC, a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from Caltech, and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles. He has held professional engineering licenses throughout the United States and internationally, including Canada and Australia.
Throughout his career, Dr. Khatri has consulted on more than 500 legal matters, provided expert testimony in arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings, and performed forensic evaluations on losses ranging from small residential claims to multimillion-dollar commercial property losses. His expertise has been sought by insurance carriers, attorneys, property owners, HOAs, developers, and construction professionals across the country.
