J. Bart Denham, Esq., is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Denham Property and Injury Law, where he advocates for the rights of property loss and personal injury victims. A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Bart earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Kentucky before going on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the university’s Rosenberg College of Law. He is an active member of both the Kentucky Justice Association and the Florida Justice Association.
Bart’s path to the law was inspired by his grandfather, Glenn Denham, who—after serving as a Navy fighter pilot during World War II—practiced law for 52 years and served as president of the Kentucky Bar Association. After law school, Bart initially put his business background to use as in-house counsel for a medical device company, but found the role unfulfilling and began exploring litigation. He obtained his Florida license and joined a boutique firm in the Tampa Bay Area practicing property loss litigation, where he honed his craft in an intensely competitive jurisdiction and discovered a genuine passion for the adversarial nature of trial work. He later served as Of Counsel with a prominent personal injury firm in Lexington, Kentucky, before founding his own practice.
Driven by a deep commitment to his clients, Bart is passionate about the rule of law, ensuring that justice is served, and standing up for the rights of those he represents. He is particularly motivated by the reality that individuals facing property damage and personal injury situations often don’t know their rights—a gap he works to close through dedicated advocacy.
As a board member of United Claims Professionals, Bart brings the perspective of an advocate grounded in fairness, accountability, and a steadfast belief in protecting policyholders and injury victims. His experience in property loss litigation and his commitment to client advocacy align directly with UCP’s mission to elevate ethical standards, promote transparency, and improve outcomes across the insurance claims process.
